The Village of Berrien Springs is home to the History Center at Courthouse Square.
The History Center at courthouse Square includes a historic site, museum, archives and museum store. Berrien County's first courthouse built in 1839, an 1870 Sheriff's residence, 1830 log house and an 1860/1873 records building are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and comprise the oldest surviving county government complex in the Midwest.
