This is not a citation!

It is meant to make you aware of an ordinance violation. Please read the notice carefully, it will explain the issue and the timeframe it needs to be addressed in.

If you have questions or concerns, please call Village Hall at 269-473-6921 and ask to speak to the Code Enforcement Officer for clarification or to make arrangements.

Ordinance Examples

Blight

This is anything kept outside or stored on a property that is not being used for its intended purpose and can be seen from the public right of way. For example: old construction materials, old tires, unused recreation equipment.

Cats

It is against Village ordinances to feed any wild or roaming animals. This includes feral cats. The Village started a Trap-Neuter-Release program in spring of 2023

Parking
There should be no parking in the tree lawn area without approved improvements. If you wish to make a parking spot in this area, please contact Village Hall.
