Brush Pick-up

Brush pick-up starts again in April and goes through October. Please see the calendar on the Events page for the pick-up dates.

No trash or other debris can be mixed in with the brush. No stumps, root balls encrusted with dirt, large quantities of brush from cuttings of tree services, or whole trees will be picked up.

Spring Clean-up

Village Spring Clean-up starts on Monday, April 21st, and goes through noon on Thursday, April 24th.

Items that will be picked up include: general household debris, furniture, mattresses, carpeting, box springs, lumber, metal scraps, non-hazardous or non-toxic materials.

Items that will not be picked up include: rocks, dirt, concrete, blocks, brick, firewood, brush, batteries, tires, oil-based paints, liquids, and anything with Freon (freezers, air conditioners, and refrigerators), and home remodeling or eviction items.

Metals and recyclables must be sorted into separate piles and put on the lawn next to the road.

Items brought from outside the Village will not be picked up.

Bagged grass clippings

Grass clippings, leaves, and garden waste such as vines, grass, weeds, flowers, and fine trimmings from bushes must be put in biodegradable bags to be picked up. The bags will be picked up continually as weather allows.

No plastic bags will be picked up.
